The Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service aims to integrate civic engagement
into George Washington University's educational work. We focus GW's resources to meet community needs beyond the campus,
promote active citizenship in a diverse democracy, and enhance teaching, learning and scholarship at GW.

Resources for Educators: The 911day.org Higher Education Toolkit
911day.org has created a toolkit for educators in preparation for the hard conversations and powerful lessons about the importance of this day in the history of humanity. This toolkit was assembled for the educator to teach students about the other side of 9/11 and to help promote inclusion and the value of diversity.

Log Your Service Hours
We’ve made it easy to keep track of your hours with the help of NobleHour, GW’s official academic and co-curricular community service record for students, staff, and faculty. The university has already added you as a ‘citizen’ within the online GW Community on NobleHour, and all you must do is claim your account. After that you can log service hours easily. Questions? Learn how to track hours.
