How do I register for CBC?
Registration is open! Register at go.gwu.edu/eservcies. You must register for CI before you can join an early move in program. If you have any problems, please contact GW Housing at email@example.com or 202-994-2552.
How many students participate in CBC?
About 150 freshman participate in CBC, led by a team of 20 upperclassman guides.
How long is the program?
CBC 2017 kicks off Wednesday late afternoon August 23rd and ends late Friday evening August 25th.
Do I get to move into my residence hall early?
Yes! You will move into your assigned room for 2017-2018 on Wednesday morning. CBC will begin with dinner later that evening.
What is the cost to participate?
The cost of CBC is $155. The program fee covers the cost of food, lodging, activities, a SmarTrip Metro card, and more.
During CBC, how will I get to my service site?
All service sites will be off-campus and accessible via walking, bus or Metro. You will travel with your upperclassman guide and your small group. A pre-loaded metro card will be provided.
If I can’t participate in CBC can I still get involved in service at GW?
