Volunteer at Little Friends For Peace
Little Friends For Peace is a nonprofit organization based in Maryland who specializes in peace education. Our mission is to empower children, adults, and communities to build relationships through social emotional learning, empathy, and to solve struggles nonviolently through compassion and mindfulness. We would like to invite students, faculty, and staff to join us at our adult training "Peace Academy", there will be two opportunities to attend this training one being September 14 at 6:30-8:30 pm and on September 30 10- 2 pm.

Reproductive Health in Syrian Refugee Camps in Chios, Greece
Interested in refugees, humanitarian aid, and international development? Want to participate in a real-life simulation of a refugee camp and help create an impact to dozens of students and practitioners in the field?
Qundeel Khattak and Tara Pokras, graduate students at the Milken School of Public Health are presenting at the USAID Mini-U Conference hosted at GW on Thursday, September 14th from 2-3pm. The session is titled, "Reproductive Health in Syrian Refugee Camps in Chios, Greece."
